Description
The Infinity Tools Shape-Up Radius Backcutter Shaper Cutter works together with any of our Shape-Up raised panel shaper cutters to rabbet the back of 3/4″-thick door panels. Used with a raised panel cutter and rub collar, it leaves a clean 1/4″-thick tongue so your panels fit perfectly into the grooves of your rail-and-stile frames. It’s a key companion piece in our Shape-Up carbide shaper cutter system.

A backcutter puts a gentle radius and rabbet on the rear face of a raised panel, reducing the panel’s edge thickness to a consistent tongue. Pairing this backcutter with your front raised-panel profile produces a balanced panel that seats cleanly and consistently — the hallmark of professional-quality cabinet doors.
